Winter 2021

I have wanted to entertain for as long as I could remember.

When I was eight years old I was first enrolled in City Lights, a weekend musical theatre program right of the broadway scene on West 50th Street. It was there that I realized I wanted to become a performer.

Throughout my middle school and high school career, I had fully immersed myself in the theatre experience, whether it was auditioning, helping paint sets, or dressing the actors. My first role was the understudy for Jack in Into the Woods, and the following year I was cast as Erzulie in my middle school’s production of Once On This Island Jr. In high school, I starred in seven productions in my four years, with highlights such as Helena from William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Starchild from Jules Tasca and Oscar Wilde’s Telling Wilde Tales, and Lady Macbeth, in my senior production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

I have Co-Founded a theatre company with my mentor in playwriting, Scott Adkins, called Let’s Make a Theatre Company!/ New Day Art Collective with the global theatre hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my colleagues and I have been able to produce and perform two showcases, one of original pieces, and another with an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.

Most recently, I have just finished the run of Frame(D), a piece written and directed by myself that took stage in the Royal and Shirley Durst Humanities Theater at SUNY Purchase College

Now, I am gearing up to graduate from the Conservatory of Theater Arts at SUNY Purchase College, Where I will receive my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performance with a concentration in Playwriting. Then, I will be attending The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace Univerisity in the Fall of 2022. A place where I am to not only learn the great depths of theatre, enrich my devotion and passion for the arts, but work with other students in their craft, while honing my very own.
